Programs and Services
We offer a variety of programming and services tailor-made to meet your desires, your needs, and your budget.
No athlete is identical. We recognize that not every athlete has the same skill level or developmental needs. A lot of training programs tend to focus on generalized programming, failing to meet the individual needs of each athlete. We know that ever athlete that comes through our program has different needs and priorities. Every program we offer is designed for a more comprehensive, personalized, and tailor-made developmental plan to achieve the athlete or the athletes true potential. By combining our personalized training with an understanding of the physiological functions of the human body and the complexity of skills necessary for playing the game of hockey we are able to build the strongest foundation in which elite talent is built upon.
Year Round Services
True Foundation Hockey is guaranteed to give you the best on-ice hockey training experience. We are committed to working on improving the deficiencies in your game and elevating your strengths to their maximum potential.

Our training programs will not only take you to the next level, but it will provide the confidence for you to perform at your highest form.
Whether you are seeking improvements in skating, puck handling, passing, shooting, rink awareness, hockey IQ, fundamental game/team concepts, or positional coaching True Foundation Hockey is the program to provide exactly what YOU need.
2025 Summer Programming
Most off-season hockey training programs for women generally focuses on a handful of flow drills, small area games and scrimmaging. While these drills serve a purpose, they cannot be the foundation of an off-season training program as little to no emphasis is placed on transferable game skill development.
The focus on physical conditioning is generally a non-factor in most programs because the trainers do not have a physiological background or understanding about how the energy systems of the body work, i.e., anaerobic, aerobic and phospho-creatine and what the Central Nervous System is teaching the muscles to do through quality repetition. The True Foundation program utilizes a combination of Overspeed training techniques combined with exercises designed to overload the Central Nervous System and build hockey energy systems and neuro-muscular responses that are transferable to game situations.
This program is designed to begin the on-ice game transferable skills starting in June through August. During the spring, the athletes primary focus should be on strength and muscle mass recovery generally lost or reduced during the long season. During these months the athletes should focus on lifting weights, plyometrics, sprinting and dynamic exercises that mimic hockey movements. Playing recreational hockey and other spring sports and activities is also recommended.
In June through August, the athletes should continue their off-ice workout regimens while working on game transferable skill development through Overspeed and CNS Overload training concepts on ice. This off-season developmental plan prepares them to enter the season in peak physical and mental condition.

Our curriculum will also incorporate CNS Overload exercises to get the hands to move as fast as the feet and improve multi-tasking thinking skills. CNS Overload incorporates hands and feet coordinated skills and multi movement skating patterns into high intensity interval training exercises.

School of Passing
Learn what it means and what it takes to be an elite passer and playmaker.
IOne of the greatest deficiencies we see in young hockey players today is their passing. Passing is by far the most underrated skill, hockey is a team sport and if you cannot consistently pass or recieve a pass you are useless. you can possess all the skill in the world but if you cant hit someones tape in stride or handle a pass on your backhand your future in this game is slim. Being an elite passer/playmaker can bring you all the way to the very pinnacle of this sport, there are dozen of players in the NHL making 3-5 million dollars a year cause the can make a great first pass.. Due to the simple nature of the skill itself passing is often undertrained and not properly coached. In this program we will challenge every aspect of your passing abilities, as well as your ability to handle passes. This program will also aim to increase the athletes hockey IQ, on-ice awareness, vision, and positional play, which making up the mental aspects of elite passing and playmaking.
